“Watching someone you love and admire battle a serious disease such as MS is really hard, but despite my mother’s symptoms with MS she stays positive and finds the good in the bad no matter how bad the bad may be,” says Savanna Harris. Savanna, a recent graduate from White Hall High School in White Hall, Arkansas, has spent a great deal of time involved in many school and community organizations and is an active member in her church. She plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to major in biology with the intention of entering pharmacy school after graduation. Savanna’s experience with MS drives her desire to work in the healthcare industry, specifically for a hospital or pharmacy.
