Donors who demonstrate their passionate commitment to achieve a world free of multiple sclerosis through an annual gift of $1,000 or more are members of the Golden Circle. Their generosity allows scientists to move solutions forward faster, provides families affected by MS with resources to help them live their best lives, and supports those who advocate for more research dollars and legislation to improve the lives of those affected by MS.

Golden Circle members stay connected to the impact of their gifts through:
  • Special access to local and national leadership
  • Events, conference calls and webinars focusing on progress in MS research and the MS movement
  • Breaking MS news alerts
  • Connections to other Golden Circle members who share a passion for creating a world free of MS

History

The Golden Circle was created in 1993 as the Southern California & Nevada Chapter’s elite annual gift campaign. Since that time, individuals, foundations and corporations have contributed millions of dollars to:

  • accelerate the development of more effective MS treatments
  • search for the cause and cure of the disease
  • expand the Chapter’s local programming for people with MS

As a member of Golden Circle, you carry on a tradition from the Society’s founder, Sylvia Lawry, who raised $100,000 in 1946 from friends and family members in her community to try to find an answer to the puzzle of this unpredictable disease.
