    Equipment Loan Program

    The Connecticut Chapter's Equipment Loan Program provides much-needed assistive devices such as manual wheelchairs, walkers and scooters on a short-term basis. Borrowing from the chapter offers a free alternative for people who are waiting for insurance to cover equipment costs or those who need equipment for a short period of time.

    Computer Outreach Program

    The Computer Outreach Program provides computers to those who live with multiple sclerosis and are restricted to their homes or are living in long-term care facilities. This unique program enables these individuals to remain connected to the world beyond their homes despite financial constraints that preclude them from purchasing computers or assistive technology.

    MS Next Step®

    Hearing the diagnosis of MS is never easy. MS Next Step is designed to answer questions that are commonly asked immediately following a diagnosis and provides an introduction to MS and the programs and services of the National MS Society. (Available in Spanish.)

  7. ONLINE Everyday Matters

    Everyday Matters

    Everyone has their own idea of their best life. For people living with multiple sclerosis, the idea of that “best life” can change due to the challenges of having a chronic, unpredictable and lifelong disease. The National MS Society’s Everyday Matters, supported by Genzyme, a Sanofi company, was an interactive national project that uncovered stories of real people facing the everyday challenges that MS can bring on the path to one’s best life.

  8. Financial Assistance

    United Way 2-1-1

    United Way 2-1-1 is a one-stop connection to the local services that address the needs of individuals and families in Connecticut. By dialing 2-1-1 from anywhere in the state you will be connected with trained call specialists who assess needs and provide referrals to community agencies. 2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day every day of the year. Multilingqual assistance and TDD access is also available.

    MS Connection Online Community

    MSconnection.org is an online community that provides the opportunity to connect with people involved in the MS movement and with valuable content, activities and resources.
