    Scholarships

    The Society’s Scholarship Program helps highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS, or who have a parent with MS, achieve their dreams of going to college.

    State of Connecticut Department of Social Services

    The Department of Social Services (DSS) offers a wide variety of services for Connecticut residents. These include health care coverage, independent living services, housing, long-term care, energy assistance, and food and nutrition aid.     Affordable Accessible Housing

    Affordable accessible housing is often a critical element in enabling people with MS to preserve their independence and remain engaged in their communities. The National MS Society has developed a user-friendly guide to explain the range of housing resources available in Connecticut. Topics addressed include how to renegotiate a mortgage, make home modifications, apply for rental vouchers or explore affordable assistive living.
