Workplace Giving

Participating in the charitable giving campaign sponsored by your employer is an easy way to help us move toward a world free of MS. Simply sign up to make a contribution by directing a portion of your paycheck to the National MS Society. Your tax deductible donation is automatically sent to the Society to help support MS programs, services and research. Workplace giving programs provide a simple and convenient way to join the movement.

Corporate Employee Giving Programs

Many national and local corporations offer their employees an opportunity to make a charitable donation through payroll deductions. If your employer partners with Community Health Charities (CHC), look for the National MS Society listing under CHC. If your employer offers an independent campaign, ask your program administrator how to designate your gift to the National MS Society.

The Combined Federal Campaign

Through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC #44115), federal government employees and members of the U.S. Military Forces can support the National Capital Chapter.

State/Local Public Sector Campaigns

Community Health Charities (CHC #11409)
The National Capital Chapter is a proud partner of Community Health Charities (CHC). CHC representes our nation's most trusted health-related charities in workplace giving campaigns nationwide. Look for the Chapter listed under CHC in public and private sector campaigns.

Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC #6001)
The CVC is an annual charity drive for employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia. ***This campaign runs from October 1 through December 21.***

Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC #3887)
The MCC is an annual charity drive for employees of the State of Maryland.

Is your office not a part of any of these campaigns? You might still be able to support the MS Society through Workplace Giving or even start up a campaign at your company. Contact courtney.flanagan@nmss.org to find out how.

While the Society is not a United Way Member Charity (except for the United Way of Charles County, you can still designate the Chapter through United Way campaigns as a write-in. Please note that only United Way donations of $100 or more will be distributed to the Chapter.

United Way

In a few areas, individuals may support the National MS Society through the United Way. If your employer offers a United Way program, ask your administrator how you can designate your gift to the National MS Society.

Employer Matching Gifts

If your employer has a matching gift fund, ask them to match your workplace giving gift to the National MS Society. See if your company offers a matching gift program
