    Timmy’s Journey to Understanding MS (DVD)

    Timmy’s Journey to Understanding MS is an animated cartoon that shares a little boy's adventure learning about MS. David Lander is the voice of Captain Kip S’myelin, Timmy’s guide on his journey. The cartoon is an excellent resource to talk with children about MS. Developed for children ages 5-12, but appropriate for all ages.

    Offers loans of durable medical equipment items, including wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds, and Hoyer lifts.

  4. ONLINE One-on-one Peer Support

    One-on-One Peer Connections

    Through the Peer Connections program you can search for and connect with a peer support volunteer who has “been there” and can provide you with helpful tips, suggestions and emotional support for the challenges that MS throws at you. You can connect with your peer via one-on-one ongoing telephone or email conversations. Peer Connections volunteers have been through a rigorous screening and training process.

    Managing Symptoms in MS: Bowel Dysfunction (video)

    This video features Nancy Holland, EdD, RN, MSCN, who discusses bowel dysfunction associated with multiple sclerosis and strategies for managing the symptoms.

  7. IN PERSON Financial Assistance

    Financial Assistance - Respite and Independent Living

    Offers limited funding for services not covered by insurance or other community programs that will enhance the safety and independence of people with MS and/or provide relief to family caregivers, such as house cleaning or other chore services, emergency response system, incontinence supplies, short-term home health aide or companion care, respite stay in assisted living or nursing home facility, adult day center participation, Meals on Wheels or nutrition supplements (Boost or Ensure).

    MS Learn Online is the National MS Society's online educational webcast series. This video features Michael Kaufman, MD, who discusses how to treat tremors, seizures, and loss of balance in multiple sclerosis.
