    Free From Falls is a comprehensive 8-week fall prevention program designed specifically for people with MS who are able to walk, but may be at risk for falling.

    The chapter has books, videos, and tapes you may borrow from our library for three weeks at a time.

  3. IN PERSON Family and Relationships

    Family home visits

    MS happens to families, not just to individuals. When a person is diagnosed with MS, there is immediate impact on all who love them. Chapter social workers and counselors are available to facilitate family meetings at your home and provide age-appropriate information to all family members.

  4. IN PERSON MS Education

    In-service trainings at home care agencies

    Education programs for professionals providing in-home care, offered by National MS Society staff.

  5. IN PERSON MS Education

    In-service trainings for rehabilitation professionals (occupational therapists, physical therapists, aides and assistants)

    Education programs for professionals providing physical and occupational therapy rehabilitation, offered by National MS Society staff.

    School meetings for children with MS

    Educational meetings for school staff where a child or teen diagnosed with MS attends.

  7. ONLINE Everyday Matters

    Everyday Matters

    Everyone has their own idea of their best life. For people living with multiple sclerosis, the idea of that “best life” can change due to the challenges of having a chronic, unpredictable and lifelong disease. The National MS Society’s Everyday Matters, supported by Genzyme, a Sanofi company, was an interactive national project that uncovered stories of real people facing the everyday challenges that MS can bring on the path to one’s best life.

  8. ONLINE Knowledge is Power

    Knowledge Is Power

    Knowledge Is Power is a free, in-home educational series for people newly diagnosed with MS and their families. This comprehensive program provides up-to-date facts about many aspects of MS. (Available in Spanish.)

  9. ONLINE Live Fully, Live Well

    Live Fully, Live Well

    Managing your health and wellness is an integral part of "living well" with MS. Live Fully, Live Well is a comprehensive wellness program from the National MS Society and Can Do MS, designed for people living with MS and their support partners. Live Fully, Live Well covers topics affecting the whole family living with MS in order to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life.

  10. VIDEO MS Education

    MS Next Step®

    Hearing the diagnosis of MS is never easy. MS Next Step is designed to answer questions that are commonly asked immediately following a diagnosis and provides an introduction to MS and the programs and services of the National MS Society. (Available in Spanish.)
