    Gentle H20 Low Impact (Leesburg)

    Exercise in the water to help maintain flexibility, build strength, and relax the body. Exercises adapted to all ability levels.

  3. IN PERSON Exercise

    Adaptive Yoga: Chair Poses (Gaithersburg)

    Gentle stretches and modified poses help you gain a working knowledge of yoga and show you how to carry these approaches over into everyday activities. Participants in this class include individuals with MS, back pain, chronic pain, and those post surgery and injury. All explorations and poses are done sitting in chairs.

    Balance and Beyond (Oakton)

    This class will help you enhance mobility, strength and flexibility. Advanced techniques from the FallProof fall prevention program are incorporated to challenge and improve overall wellness.

  6. IN PERSON Exercise

    Adaptive Yoga for MS (Hyattsville)

    This class includes modified yoga stretches to release muscular tension (thus relieving spasticity), breathing practices, and fun. It has been reported by others with MS that doing yoga can increase body awareness; improve flexibility and strength; allow for better coordination and balance; and give the ability to better handle stress. Each class ends with a deep relaxation. Participants must be ambulatory and be able to transfer from chair to floor.

    Men's Day

    Men's Day is an annual program specifically for men living with MS. Attendees have the opportunity to network and share experiences, common dilemmas, and positive solutions.

    Adaptive/Seated Yoga (Arlington)

    Adaptive/seated yoga designed for adults with limited mobility, chronic pain or neuropathy. This class emphasizes breathing, gentle stretching & going at your own pace. Instructor Seema Debas.
