Volunteer at one of our five walk sites throughout the state:
April 12, 2014- Wilmington Riverfront Walk
April 12, 2014- Historic Dover Walk
May 3, 2014- Newark Walk at Buffalo Wild Wings
May 30, 2014- Baywood Greens Walk, Long Neck
May 30, 2014- Heritage Shores, Bridgeville
Join us in the morning to prepare the walk site. Jobs may involve unloading and distributing supplies, setting up tables and chairs, and hanging banners.
Help check-in walkers, collect pledge envelopes, and provide general information to walkers. Registration volunteers must be trained on the registration process at the mandatory training session held 30 minutes prior to registration start time.
Help welcome walkers and direct them to the appropriate areas at the walk site, ensure registration lines are moving quicky, and answer any necessary questions.
Set up rest stop and re-stock supplies as needed. Rest stop volunteers create a fun atmosphere for all by cheering and providing food and beverages for participants as they take a short rest along the route.
Do you have a special talent? Share your skills with Walk MS participants and make it a memorable experience for all. We welcome massage therapists, comedians, musicians, face-painters, etc.
Finish Line Celebration
Time to celebrate! Finish line volunteers will cheer on walkers and celebrate with them as they cross the finish line.
