Making new friends and meeting new people can be hard for children who have a loved one living with Multiple Sclerosis. Additionally, many times children feel that if they express their needs or wants, it can negatively influence the health of others. It can be common for children to experience stress, conflict, and isolation when someone close to them has MS.
Building relationships, providing support and connecting families can have a great impact on a child's life. That is why the National Multiple Sclerosis Society hosts Kid's Camp. Kids ages 7-13 will have the opportunity to experience a weekend of making new friends, participating in new activities and having lots of fun! There is no cost to attend this weekend and transportation options may be available.
The dates for the upcoming Kid's Camp are May 15, 2015 through May 17, 2015. Please contact us for more information about this event and enrollment.
