Meeting the Challenges of MS: Providing Support Through Problem Solving, Evanston
Meeting the Challenges is a program for care partners (ONLY), and consists of 5 sessions. Each session is 2 hours in length and led by a professional Occupational Therapist. Through the program and weekly homework assignments, participants learn skills and strategies to meet the challenges of MS. The goals of the program are to help family and friends feel more confident in their abilities to provide support and assistance to a person with MS, help prepare for and manage the challenges associated with supporting and assisting a person with MS, and help family and friends monitor and manage their own health and well-being so that they can continue to provide support and assistance to a person with MS.
