The Greater Illinois Chapter will not reimburse for any services or goods obtained prior to submitting an application for financial assistance. Assistance is based on a sliding scale, and payment for services is made directly to the vendor. The chapter will not pay for medications, diagnostic procedures, doctors’ office visits or any other expenses related directly to medical care.
The Financial Assistance program is funded directly by private donations with services additionally provided through local and national collaborations.
