In 2014, our local chapter awarded $400,000 in research, provided crisis support to hundreds of local families in need, helped deserving young people go to college, and assisted thousands of families navigate through the complexities of MS at our Information and Referral Center.
Nationally, we have recruited more than 800 new MS field researchers.
We drove research that uncovered the genese contributing to MS susceptibility.
We discovered and drove a new field of MS research - nerve and myelin repair.
We paved the way for all existing FDA approved therapies - none of which existed 20 years ago.
