Dry Prong, LA

After being diagnosed with MS at the age of 13, Allie Williams began viewing the doctors and nurses she saw frequently as role models. “I admire their dedication and patience and also the knowledge they possess,” she says. “I feel that nursing is my calling, and I feel that I can relate to patients.” In an effort to impact the lives of others, Allie plans on studying nursing at the Alexandria Vo-Tech Institute. And Allie has already made an impact on the lives of those with MS after gathering 27 family members and friends for her walk team for Walk MS Shreveport. “We do many fundraisers to help reach my goal for the National MS Society to one day find a cure.”
