    Achieving Optimal Wellness: Exercise and Nutrition

    Learn about the benefits and importance of wellness behaviors, exercise and nutrition to manage the symptoms of MS. Speakers: Brian Quinn, PTA, M.S. at St. Charles Rehabilitation Network, Partner in MS Care and Mara Crans, M.D., a competitive triathlete living with MS for 18 years.     Is your memory affected by MS? Do you have difficulty getting organized? Does clutter affect your everyday life and getting things done? Mary Lloyd, OT will address all of these and give some practical techniques and suggestions to deal with these frustrations. Register by May 1.

    Living Well with MS Conference

    We are pleased to offer a day of information and networking at our annual educational conference! Attend your choice of workshops to learn ways to improve mental and physical wellness. Meet others living with MS and visit the resource expo. Are you newly diagnosed? We have something just for you! Attend the Beyond Diagnosis; Moving Forward workshop, facilitated by Dr. Angela Applebee from the MS Center of Northern New England, designed for people diagnosed within the past 5 years.

    We are pleased to offer a day of education on research and treatments, emotional wellness, exercise, adaptive recreation, as well as an interactive resource EXPO. Join us for a day full of information & networking with professionals from the MS Center of New Hampshire at Concord Hospital and local healthcare professionals.     CogniFitness: Memory, Attention and Executive Skills

    Up to 60% of people with MS experience cognitive changes in some form. This call will discuss issues and engage you in practical activities. Learn exercises and strategies to help focus your attention, improve memory, planning & problem solving skills.     Accessible Recreation Fair

    The Department of Conservation and Recreation will offer a free fun-filled day of celebrating Accessible Outdoor Recreation available for individuals, families and friends of people with disabilities. Activities will include a cycling fair with an assortment of accessible cycles; other adaptive recreational activities, including hiking, letterboxing, face painting and interpretive programs; music; snacks, including Starbucks Coffee, Legal Seafood’s’ Chowder Mobile and much more!

    JUMPSTART® IN MOTION is a free one-day program where participants will gain knowledge on goal setting, exercise and emotional well-being. This program also welcomes support partners who will participate in sessions specific to them. Get a JUMPSTART on your MS, and join us as we explore an interactive and multi-disciplinary approach to MS care management! Lunch will be provided.
