  2. IN PERSON Exercise

    Gateway to Wellness

    Gateway to Wellness is a 6-week health and education program designed specifically for individuals with MS and their support partners to enhance their quality of life. Each session includes education and skills training, exercise, goal-setting and networking. Topics covered include: exercise, coping with fatigue, changes in cognition and worker roles, building in leisure, managing social challenges, stress management, computer access, and nutrition. Registration Deadline: September 2.

    Cognifitness: Keeping the Mind Moving - Dover

    Up to 60% of people with MS experience cognitive changes in some form. Join us for this program to discuss cognitive issues and engage in small group practical activities. Learn exercise and strategies to help focus attention, improve memory, planning and problem solving skills. Register by September 10.

    Free From Falls: Level 2

    A new eight-week fall prevention program designed for people living with MS who use a walker, crutches or a scooter (but are still able to walk a short distance) and may be at risk for falling. Application deadline: September 1.

    Live Fully, Live Well

    Managing your health and wellness is an integral part of "living well" with MS. Live Fully, Live Well is a comprehensive wellness program from the National MS Society and Can Do MS, designed for people living with MS and their support partners. Live Fully, Live Well covers topics affecting the whole family living with MS in order to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life.
