Do It Yourself Fundraising


Do It Yourself Fundraising Events raise significant funds for the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter. These events are solely organized and executed by enthusiastic external individuals and/or companies in order to raise funds for research and programs for people living with MS.

Franklins Restaurant Fundraiser
Join Challenge Walk MS team Cabi Girls Rock on Tuesday, July 29 at Franklins Restaurant (5123 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781) for a fundraiser. Tell your server you are there to support Challenge Walk MS and 20% of your check will be donated to the team.

Hard Times Cafe Fundraiser
Join us on Friday, August 8 from 5 p.m. - 1 a.m. at Hard Times Cafe (1003 W Patrick St., Frederick MD 21702) for a fundraiser. There will be a silent auction, live bands, 50/50 raffle, food and drink specials and a wing eating contest. $5 cover charge. Proceeds go to the Maryland Chapter. MS Fundraiser at Razzmatazz
Come to Razzmatazz (263 East Main St., Westminster, MD 21157) on Saturday, August 9 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. for a fabulous day benefiting the National MS Society. Hamburgers, hotdogs and popcorn will be available for sale. Enter raffles for salon hair care products, and enjoy music and a fun atmosphere. Bring the kids for face painting, pony rides, hair tattoos, and more!

Funds for Friends at the Greene Turtle
Join MSBusters for the 9th Funds for Friends event at the Greene Turtle (3213 Solomons Island Rd, Suite A, Edgewater, MD 21037) to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! On Friday, August 15, tell your server, "I'm supporting MSBusters" (or show the flyer from MSBusters' Facebook page) and the Greene Turtle will contribute 20% of your sale - dine in or carry out - to the Maryland Chapter. Visit for lunch, happy hour, dinner or all three! Team members will sell 50/50 raffle tickets from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and draw the lucky winning ticket at 8:45 p.m. More details are available from the Turtle at 410-956-1144 or

Macy's Shop For A Cause at Harford Mall
On Saturday, August 23, 2014, Macy's (Harford Mall, 696 Bel Air Road, Bel Air, MD 21014) will host its 9th annual Shop For A Cause, benefiting Walk MS: Maryland 2015. For a $5.00 donation, you will receive 25% off  regular, sale and clearance merchandise throughout the store, as well as 10% off electronics, furniture, mattresses and area rugs. Think of your savings for back to school shopping! Orioles v. Twins Game
Join Challenge Walk MS Team ESED-CTAC for an Orioles game on Friday, August 29 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $15 and $5 of each ticket goes to the Maryland Chapter. Carroll County Craft Beer Festival
Join us on Saturday, October 11 from 12 - 6 p.m. for the Carroll County Craft Beer Festival at Shipley Arena (Carroll County Ag Center, Westminster, MD 21157). The Carroll County Craft Beer Festival was developed as an educational and informative showcase of national and local craft beer breweries. The festival is presented by Salerno's Restaurant & Catering, who has worked with the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter for many years. Salerno's will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Maryland Chapter. Click here for more information.

Shop 'Til You Drop
Join us on Sunday, November 11 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Essex Elks Lodge 1866 (1007 East Homberg Ave., Baltimore, MD 21221) for a shopping event to benefit the Maryland Chapter. There will be lots of vendors like Pampered Chef, Avon Miche, Party Lite, etc. There will be door prizes, a Chinese auction and raffles. Tickets are $15.00, which includes finger foods and one drink. A cash bar is available. 100% of net proceeds will be donated to the Maryland Chapter.
