• Carroll County Craft Beer Festival
Join us on Saturday, October 11 from 12 - 6 p.m. for the Carroll County Craft Beer Festival at Shipley Arena (Carroll County Ag Center, Westminster, MD 21157). The Carroll County Craft Beer Festival was developed as an educational and informative showcase of national and local craft beer breweries. The festival is presented by Salerno's Restaurant & Catering, who has worked with the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter for many years. • Boscov's Friends Helping Friends
On Saturday, October 21, 2014, Boscov's will host their annual Friends Helping Friends fundraising event at all locations. Come and enjoy free refreshments and a chance to win prizes. For a small $5.00 donation you will receive a 25% discount shopping pass* for purchases made only on October 21, 2014 -- proceeds benefit the Maryland Chapter. In addition, attendees are eligible to win fabulous door prizes including shopping sprees and valuable merchandise. • Randi's Rebels Applebee's Fundraiser
Support Randi's Rebels Walk MS Team at an Applebee's Flapjack Fundraiser on Sunday, October 19. Join Randi from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Applebee's In Westminster (634 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster MD 21157) for All You Can Eat Flapjacks and more! Tickets are only $7.50 per person and $3.00 for children 5 and under. • Fall Fest in Betterton, MD
Join Walk MS Team Q-Bert at Betterton's Annual Fall Fest where they will be selling hot dogs, snacks and drinks to raise money for the National MS Society. Come out to the Betterton Volunteer Fire Department (2 Howell Point Rd., Betterton, MD 21610) on Saturday, October 25. This is an all-day event with games for children and adults.
• McDaniel Terror Trot 5k Run/Walk
Join the McDaniel Women’s Lacrosse Team for the 6th Annual Terror Trot - 5k Run or 1.5 Mile Walk on Sunday November 1, 2014. Check-in time is at 9:30 and the run starts at 11:00 a.m. Registration is in the Gill Athletic Center Lobby on McDaniel College Campus. The course will run through and around the McDaniel College campus. Registration is $20 for adults and only $15 for people ages 13-21. Walk ups are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged. • Shop 'Til You Drop
Join us on Sunday, November 16 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Essex Elks Lodge 1866 (1007 East Homberg Ave., Baltimore, MD 21221) for a shopping event to benefit the Maryland Chapter. There will be lots of vendors like Pampered Chef, Avon Miche, Party Lite, etc. There will be door prizes, a Chinese auction and raffles. Tickets are $15.00, which includes finger foods and one drink. A cash bar is available. 100% of net proceeds will be donated to the Maryland Chapter.
