The Golden Circle program recognizes the Michigan Chapter’s top annual donors, who give $1,000 or more directly or through an event. Golden Circle members’ generosity ensures that each person with MS can live their best life with more connections to information, resources, and others with shared experiences. A portion of each Golden Circle contribution also helps accelerate research breakthroughs that can change lives and end MS forever.
The Golden Circle program strives to enhance members’ connection to the mission of the National MS Society. Throughout the year, members receive special opportunities and communications:
Receptions and Speakers – Golden Circle members receive invitations to exclusive receptions with chapter staff members and mission speakers occurring in your area. The Michigan Chapter also host a private reception for Golden Circle members each fall in the Detroit area. In 2014, Dr. Timothy Coetzee, Chief Research Officer for the National MS Society, spoke about our research initiatives and new wellness strategy.
Chapter & Research Newsletters – The Michigan Chapter MSConnection newsletter and NOW Quarterly updates are emailed to Golden Circle members quarterly, and the MSConnection is mailed directly to members’ homes semi-annually.
Annual Meeting – Every Golden Circle member receives two complimentary tickets to the annual meeting held at the beginning of March each year.
Dedicated Chapter Staff Member – Tim Krause, Donor Relations Manager, is dedicated to answering Golden Circle members’ questions and keeping members informed of chapter events
