      The National MS Society can help connect you with accessible housing or home modifications to help you remain independent yet connected to your community.

    2. Financial Assistance

      Living with multiple sclerosis can mean unexpected and ongoing financial difficulties for you and your family. The National MS Society, Upper Midwest Chapter is here to make sure that doesn’t stop you from moving forward. We provide limited financial assistance, scholarships, services and other resources to improve your quality of life and help ease the financial burden of MS.

    3. GE-Reagan MS Scholarship Program

      We believe MS should not stand in the way of an education. The National MS Society Scholarship Program helps students affected by MS move their lives forward.

    4. Emergency Assistance

      Do you have an emergency financial need such as a shut-off notice, or are you having a hard time paying your rent, mortgage or utilities? You may qualify for one-time emergency assistance from the National MS Society.

    6. Pharmaceutical Financial Assistance Programs

    7. National Scholarship Program

      MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists — to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.

    1. Veterans with Multiple Sclerosis

      The National MS Society is collaborating with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs MS Centers of Excellence to support improved care and support services for veterans with multiple sclerosis and their families.

      Are you considering a scooter purchase? The buyer's guide provides you with valuable questions to make sure the equipment meets your needs.

    3. Insurance and Financial Planning

      Professional consultations The chapter offers consultations with professional volunteers including a family attorney; employment specialist with tips on interviewing, resumes and more; employment discrimination/private disability attorney; and financial planning professionals. Consultations are free and by appointment only. To schedule, call an MS Navigator at 800-582-5296 to schedule an appointment.

      In support of our mission, we provide free access to accurate, current, and comprehensive information to people with MS, those who care for them, and health professionals through the Midwest Regional Lending Library.
