The Society recognizes that well trained and supported volunteers are key to the ongoing delivery of self-help groups and one-on-one peer support. Below are resources available to assist and support you in your leadership role.

Online trainings

Did you know that you can find telelearnings for group leaders archived on the National MS Society website? Available training topics include interpersonal dynamics, mood and cognition, maintaining healthy boundaries, managing difficult behaviors and many more. Reimbursement requests

The Upper Midwest Chapter extends a budget of up to $200 per fiscal year for each MS group for group-related expenses. Click here to learn more about requesting reimbursement for group-related expenses.
