    This nationwide program is comprised of a range of initiatives that support independence, safety, health and quality of life for people living with MS. This program offers guidance and resources to help contain the financial impact of MS.

    The Society’s Scholarship Program helps highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS, or who have a parent with MS, achieve their dreams of going to college.

    The National MS Society is collaborating with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs MS Centers of Excellence to support improved care and support services for veterans with multiple sclerosis and their families.

    This service includes access to financial guidance, referral resources, and possible direct financial assistance. This financial assistance may include the following: durable medical equipment, short-term respite care, cooling devices, home and vehicle accessibility modifications, transportation to medical appointments, utilities, rent/mortgage, incontinence products, health & wellness support, counseling and more.

    Therapeutic Recreation Program Scholarships

    Financial assistance is available to help you pay for therapeutic recreation classes and memberships. In some cases, assistance with transportation may also be available.

    Affordable Accessible Housing Guide

    A Guide for People with MS in Missouri and Illinois.
    This guide is a practical tool to help families living with MS evaluate their housing needs and better understand the range of housing options that are available to them, from home modifications to rental assistance to assisted living.

  7. IN PERSON Financial Assistance

    Marketplace Ads

    Individuals who have MS and their family members are welcome to post ads to Marketplace. Items are listed free of charge at the discretion of the Chapter. Online classifieds are listed for 90 days, after which they are removed unless a renewal request is submitted.
