    Connections is a learning opportunity for people who live with MS to come together and have a meal, learn about the National MS Society, and hear from an expert on the disease – usually a neurologist. Hear from neurologist, Dr. Florian Thomas, to talk about the new oral treatment, Aubagio.

  6. IN PERSON MS Education

    Medical Student Fellowship

    This program exposes medical students in their pre-clinical and clinical years to the field of MS. Students will be assigned a mentor. Proposed rotations may include learning about multi-disciplinary care, clinical trials and research. Students will also receive an elective course credit secured through Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM).

    Camp Hope is a week-long camp for children ages 8-15 who are affected by MS in some way.

    Connections: West Plains

    Whether you have been recently diagnosed with MS in the past five years, have just moved to the area, or just want to learn more about the oral medication Aubagio, this program is about learning from one another, making new friends, learning more about the Gateway Area Chapter of the National MS Society and hearing from a professional speaker on an MS related topic.

    Relationships Matter

    Having a satisfactory relationship is hard work even in the best of times. Multiple sclerosis can make it harder. This one day program is designed to help you and your partner minimize the impact of multiple sclerosis on your lives and take charge as a couple through a creative mix of interactive courses.
