Why Intern at the National MS Society?
You will gain valuable work experience and enhance your education by interning with the National MS Gateway Chapter. Learn from our talented staff, and make a difference while building new skills and applying what you are learning in the classroom. An internship with the Gateway Chapter not only allows you to develop skills and gain experience but also provides an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those with multiple sclerosis and their families.
· Must be at least 18
· Must be enrolled with a university at the time of the internship
· 14 to 16 hours a week during the regular business hours of Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the exact days and times to be determined according to intern schedule
An education stipend is awarded to those who complete 100-600 hours per semester. (The average is $500/240 hours of service), this amount is applied directly toward tuition. If tuition balance is paid in full, then the stipend will be available to the student as determined by the university.
