The Society offers many programs and services to help people affected by MS live their best lives. Find resources in your area to learn, connect, and get support.

    Alternative Therapies in MS

    Alternative therapies are difficult to define and can include anything from drugs and diet to food supplements, mental exercises and lifestyle changes. This teleconference will help identify and discuss alternative options.

    Everyday Matters

    This five week course will help participants increase their knowledge of the principles of positive psychology, in addition to developing a personal action plan.

    Southeast Regional Library

    The chapter houses a variety of books, DVD's and brochures on topics related to MS. Materials are mailed out with a self-addressed stamped envelope for easy return.

    This educational series is made available through the collaboration of the following chapters of the National MS Society: Alabama-Mississippi, Central North Carolina, Georgia, Greater Carolinas, Kentucky-Southeast Indiana, Mid Florida, Mid South, North Florida, & South Florida.

    Everyday Matters

    Everyone has their own idea of their best life. For people living with multiple sclerosis, the idea of that “best life” can change due to the challenges of having a chronic, unpredictable and lifelong disease. The National MS Society’s Everyday Matters, supported by Genzyme, a Sanofi company, was an interactive national project that uncovered stories of real people facing the everyday challenges that MS can bring on the path to one’s best life.

    Knowledge Is Power

    Knowledge Is Power is a free, in-home educational series for people newly diagnosed with MS and their families. This comprehensive program provides up-to-date facts about many aspects of MS. (Available in Spanish.)

  8. ONLINE Live Fully, Live Well

    Live Fully, Live Well

    Managing your health and wellness is an integral part of "living well" with MS. Live Fully, Live Well is a comprehensive wellness program from the National MS Society and Can Do MS, designed for people living with MS and their support partners. Live Fully, Live Well covers topics affecting the whole family living with MS in order to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life.

    MS Next Step®

    Hearing the diagnosis of MS is never easy. MS Next Step is designed to answer questions that are commonly asked immediately following a diagnosis and provides an introduction to MS and the programs and services of the National MS Society. (Available in Spanish.)

    You CAN!

    You CAN! is brought to you with the help of Can Do Multiple Sclerosis (formerly The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis) as a reminder that despite the challenges MS may bring, you have a whole life to live. Can Do Multiple Sclerosis teaches people with MS to focus on what they ‘can do’ in life instead of what they cannot, empowering them to live fuller, more productive lives.
