The National MS Society is always interested in partnering with health care professionals to enhance the quality of care and to increase access to care for people with MS. Locally, the NJ Metro Chapter conducts free in-service training seminars for nurses and nurses’ aides at long term care facilities and home health agencies, sharing the latest and most practical techniques, advice and information with professionals who interact daily with MS. To schedule an in-service program at your agency, contact the Chapter at 800-344-4867 or at generalmailbox@nmss.org.

The Society's MS Clinical Care Network houses the most comprehensive library of MS information in the world and provides a variety of information and consultation services. Our goal is to partner with health care professionals to enhance quality of care and increase access to care for people with MS. The Consortium of MS Centers (CMSC) offers Professional Development Programs.  Organized in 1986 under the direction of neurologists interested in the clinical care of multiple sclerosis, CMSC has grown to become a multi-disciplinary organization providing a team approach to MS care and a network for all health care professionals and others specializing in the care of persons with MS. CMSC provides leadership in clinical research and education; develops vehicles to share information and knowledge among members; disseminates information to the health care community and to persons affected by Multiple Sclerosis; and develops and implements mechanisms to influence health care delivery. The International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses (IOMSN)   The programs and services of IOMSN reflect the domains of multiple sclerosis nursing: education, clinical care, advocacy, and research. Through its training programs and outreach, the IOMSN enhance the knowledge and skills of our membership along with new and emerging nursing professionals.
