Musical Moments for MS is a benefit concert for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The concert gala will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. This year, we are delighted to announce that the concert will feature legendary Broadway performer Patti LuPone. Ms. LuPone is a Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-Winning performer and can also be seen on film and television. She will bring her COULDA, WOULDA, SHOULDA….played that part concert to our stage for the evening and perform songs from musicals which she could have played, should have played, did play and will play.  The list of shows includes Hair, Bye, Bye Birdie, Funny Girl, West Side Story and Peter Pan and, of course, from her Tony Award winning performances in Evita and Gypsy. Visit http://www.pattilupone.net/bio.html for her full bio.

Over the years, Musical Moments for MS has raised nearly $12 million and has funded two endowed chairs at the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers Medical School), both of which are dedicated to advancing MS research and treatment. The proceeds from Musical Moments will be used to support research efforts and will help fund all of the programs and services throughout New Jersey.
