It has a web-based lifestyle empowerment program where you can interact with other participants online.

  8. IN PERSON Financial Assistance

    Medical Transportation

    The chapter offers a maximum of three round trips (or the financial equivalent) for members to get to appointments with health care professionals. Requests must be made at least one week prior to the medical appointment. Please identify if you are using a wheelchair, scooter, or power wheelchair.

    Counseling services are offered through couple and family sessions. Up to seven counseling sessions are available.

    MS symptoms can sometimes progress to the point that they significantly interfere with daily activities. Maintaining control and independence in daily living does not always mean doing things the same way you did them before. This call will discuss how to navigate the world of assistive technology and suggest ways to modify your environment, at home and at work to optimize independence.
