    Barrier Free Living(BFL)

    Barrier Free Living (BFL) is dedicated to helping New Yorkers with disabilites live independently in the community. BFL provides a range of services and linkages to other community resources through various programs, enabling individuals to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of their living dignified, secure lives. They specialize in programs for domestic violence, homelessness and disability advocacy.

    Who is this tape for? Anyone with limited mobility. This includes people with: Multiple Sclerosis, Mild Arthritis, Chronic Illness or Pain, Post-Polio Syndrome,or Chronic Fatigue. This tape is also for Seniors and anyone with daily stresses as well as people who are overweight or temporarily limited. If aerobics videos are too difficult, but you know that you need to exercise - This is the tape for you!

    This nationwide program is comprised of a range of initiatives that support independence, safety, health and quality of life for people living with MS. This program offers guidance and resources to help contain the financial impact of MS.

  8. TELEPHONE Support and Self Help Groups

    Teens Living with Pediatric MS Support Group- Telephone

    Professionally-led group offers teens (ages 13-19) living with pediatric MS an opportunity to openly share experiences and coping strategies with others who may have similar life situations. Participants have the opportunity to discuss and share issues of special concern such as new diagnosis, school, coping with additional symptoms or the impact of MS on the family.
