    National Scholarship Program

    MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists — to help highly qualified students with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college. The Society established this program in 2003 and it continues to grow both in terms of support and scholarships awarded. In its first year the program awarded 36 scholarships for a total of $68,000; in 2014 over $1 million was awarded to 718 scholars.

    An Introduction to MS for Fitness and Wellness Professionals

    Free online training course for fitness and wellness professionals, including aquatics instructors, yoga teachers, personal trainers, and others who want to learn more about MS. The course provides an overview of the disease and offers specific strategies for working with a diverse MS population. This online course has been approved by the American Council on Exercise for 0.4 continuing education credits.

You can connect with your peer via one-on-one ongoing telephone or email conversations. Peer Connections volunteers have been through a rigorous screening and training process.
