    District Activist Leader

    Have you met with your elected official and shared how MS affects you? Are you interested in growing this relationship to keep people with MS are front of mind as he or she considers legislation? Lead the way in your community by becoming a volunteer District Activist Leader.

    As a District Activist Leader, you will build and foster critical relationships with the elected officials in your legislative district. You will serve as a liaison between these officials and the Society, helping to develop a reliable grassroots movement across the state and the country.

    Self-help Group Facilitator/Co-Facilitator

    National MS Society self-help groups bring people together who share a common life experience (living with MS) for support, education and mutual aid. Self-help group leaders and co-leaders, with the assistance and participation of group members, manage the organizational and logistical aspects of group facilitation.

    Volunteer Leadership Team (VLT) Members will serve as volunteer group leaders and/or event area volunteer coordinators, creating a working infrastructure during Bike MS: The Road Divided event weekend.

    Bike MS Committee: Packet Pick-Up/Registration Lead

    The Packet Pick-Up/Registration Lead manages the assembly and distribution of event information packets for teams and individual riders for Bike MS: The Road Divided. Bike MS: The Road Divided is a two-day fundraising cycling event that takes riders on a journey from Norman to Stillwater. Participation and fundraising in this event drives MS research forward faster, and delivers services to those who face the challenges of MS every day so they can live their best lives.

    The Rest Stop Coordinator recruits, trains, schedules, and supervises volunteer groups for rest stops during Bike MS: The Road Divided, maintaining the highest standards for volunteer/participant safety.

    Bike MS Committee: Supply/Truck Loading Manager

    The Supply/Truck Loading Manager coordinates and supervises truck loading, restocking, and supply delivery to all sites, including rest stops and lunches during Bike MS: The Road Divided.
