Vision: Through the Know MS scholarships provided by the chapter, allied health professionals receive the training and education they need to have maximum impact on the lives of people living with MS.

Who?

  • Allied health professionals and service providers who are currently working with or desire to work with our constituents living with MS
  • Professionals may be new (just beginning their career) or experienced (seeking to grow their knowledge-base)
  • Ideal candidates are those who have been working with people living with MS for at least one year
  • Students in MS care professions are eligible for this scholarship.

  • To be considered, applications should be submitted prior to registering for scholarship activities
  • Scholarships are available year-round, as long as funds are available

How?

Terms and Conditions:

  • Should you be granted a KnowMS Scholarship, we ask that in exchange you continue to be a part of our chapter's mission. You will have ONE YEAR to complete your "gift of time" and you can satisfy this requirement in a number of ways. A chapter staff member will contact you to discuss your involvement interests and ensure you are matched with an activity most in line with your skills and interests.
  • Physicians are not eligible for KnowMS Scholarships.
  • Eligible individuals may reapply for KnowMS Scholarships every 3 years.
  • Applicants must practice within the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter’s 18-county territory.
  • Applicants may be required to meet with the scholarship review committee and submit additional information about their expertise and education goals prior to determining award status.
