Brandon plans to pursue a master’s degree in forensic and investigative sciences at Texas A&M University.  Familiar with dealing with hardships in life, Brandon is determined to achieve his goals. When Brandon was five years old, his mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Suddenly she was not around as often due to frequent hospital visits, and when she was at home she was not feeling well. Despite this, Brandon kept a positive attitude and tried to help out his family as much as a young child could.  “I knew that I was required to be strong for my Mom, so that she could be strong for herself,” says Brando. “And that’s what I did.”
