Spring, TX

As the oldest of three children, Holly Rogers has not only helped care for her siblings but has also assisted her mother who has multiple sclerosis. In spite of her personal challenges, Holly has gained strength mentally and emotionally as she battles the disease alongside her family. “I have also learned to make the most of every day I get and to try to make a difference while I have the opportunity,” she says. Since receiving her scholarship, Holly will attend Lone Star Community College and later the University of Houston to become a speech pathologist, helping children with special needs.
