Missouri City, TX

Kaillyn Lewis, a graduate of John Foster Dulles High School, admits her home life in Missouri City has been a bit different than others kids her age. Since her mother has lived with multiple sclerosis for practically all of Kaillyn’s life, she is more than acquainted with neurologist visits and MRI screenings. “Going with my mom to her doctors’ appointments, I began to notice that I had an interest in the medical field,” Kaillyn says. “My interest in this field was sparked from my love for the sciences, but also from the care that I have seen all of her doctors give her. I would love to give the care to others and to help them fight debilitating diseases such as MS.” To achieve this, Kaillyn plans to get her Bachelor’s Degree in communication sciences from the University of Oklahoma.
