Lauren Hall

Texarkana, TX

Pleasant Grove High School graduate Lauren Hall is working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in biology at the University of Arkansas, and hopes to help others when she enters a career in the medical field. She chose this area of study based in part by her experience with her mother who has struggled with MS all of Lauren’s life.  Lauren has seen with her own eyes the hurdles one must cross but also the triumphs of those efforts.  “My desires to make a difference in others’ lives and to work hard for the things I want most are a result of seeing her love others and to push even when life is at its roughest,” Lauren says. “Because of MS, I now see that even the impossible is possible.” Her faith was not diminished but rather encouraged by watching her mother cope with this illness. “Because of my faith, multiple sclerosis has still yet to win, and I know that nothing can defeat me.”
