Kim Johnson, ABC 4 News Anchor, emceed the program and where athlete and activist Ashley Kumlien shared how she is making a difference in creating a world free of MS.  Her mother was diagnosed shortly before Ashley was born so in 2009 Ashley established her own nonprofit organization, MS Run the US with the mission of raising awareness of MS and funds for MS research.  In 2010, she ran 3,288 miles across America from San Francisco to New York City to raise funds and awareness.   Upon completion, Ashley became the 16th female to ever run across America.  Last year, she started organizing yearly relay runs across the U.S. with 16 participants who each run an equivalent of approximately a marathon (26.2 miles) every day for six consecutive days during their assigned segment. Last year’s relay spanned 145 days and raised over $500,000 to help cure multiple sclerosis.

Then the guests were treated to a fabulous fashion show from Paletti which is located at 3210 Highland Drive in Salt Lake City.

Join us again in February 2015 and help us get one step closer to a world free of MS!
