    2. Connect with Peers One-on-One

      Search for and connect with a trained peer support volunteer who can provide you with helpful tips, suggestions and emotional support for the challenges that MS throws at you. Connect via one-on-one ongoing telephone or email conversations.

Cigarette smoking – which can cause serious health issues including lung cancer, increased risk of infections, and heart disease, and is the primary cause of preventable death in the United States – has also been identified as a risk factor in the development and progression of MS.
