    Newly Diagnosed Teleconference Series: MS 101: Understanding MS Teleconference

    Whether you have or may have MS, or care about someone who does, finding the right information is an important step. Learning more about the disease can help ease the anxiety and confusion that sometimes comes. This call will cover the basics of multiple sclerosis including how to access information about MS and ask questions. The registration deadline for this call is August 26, 2014.

    Newly Diagnosed Teleconference Series: Treatment Options Teleconference

    Just as the experience of living with MS varies from person to person, so too are the options available for managing one’s care. On this call you will learn about current MS therapies and those in development. You will also hear about effective treatment strategies and medications that offer relief for symptoms. The information from this call will enable you to partner with your own doctor to formulate a personal care plan. The registration deadline for this call is September 2, 2014.

    Newly Diagnosed Teleconference Series: To Tell or Not Tell: Disclosing Your MS Teleconference

    We know it can be difficult to hear the words "You have MS." There are many questions that arise in the first few years about what the diagnosis means for you, how it will impact your relationships and career and how to manage the chronic nature of the disease. This call will outline the pros and cons of disclosing to family, friends and employers, as well as federal laws that protect individuals with disabilities in the work place. The registration deadline for this call is September 9, 2014.

Live Fully, Live Well is a comprehensive wellness program from the National MS Society and Can Do MS, designed for people living with MS and their support partners. Live Fully, Live Well covers topics affecting the whole family living with MS in order to strengthen relationships, increase understanding and promote improved health and quality of life.
