Each spring the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter hosts Alabama’s oldest charity wine auction the Evening of Wines.
The 2012 event will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 20th at the Country Club of Birmingham.
We are honored to feature the outstanding wines of Caymus Vineyards at our 2012 Evening of Wines. This is a unique opportunity to meet Chuck Wagner before dinner and hear his comments on the fine wines of Caymus.

Wine lovers across the country have made our fundraiser a tremendous success for the last 26 years through generous donations and contributions. Since its inception in 1985, the auction has generated over $2 million to support vital research and to provide programs for those living with MS and their friends and families.

Last year's Evening of Wines marked the most successful edition in the event's 26 year history! Over 250 guests attended the auction in support of the National MS Society, Alabama-Mississippi Chapter. The auction raised $205,000 which will help support research initatives as well as programs and services for the 4,100 people living with MS in Alabama.

Special Thanks to Kermit Lynch Wine Merchants (KLWM) for being a part of our 2011 Evening of Wines. We enjoyed planning this year's event with the assistance of KLWM's Chief Operating Officer, Dixon Brooke III. And, Thomas Morgan's comments on the extraordinary wines of KLWM during dinner allowed patrons the opportunity to learn more about the fine wines that Kermit Lynch Wine Merchants supplies.
We appreciate the many contributions our Evening of Wines Steering Committee who spend many hours helping plan this event and make it the annual success that it is. This event would not be possible without the effort of volunteer leaders who want to share their knowledge and love for wine with all who attend. We are most grateful for each person who helps us move the needle forward for those people living with MS in Alabama.

25th Anniversary Highlights and Recap from April 2010
The 25th Anniversary Evening of Wines was a monumental event at The Club, raising over $130,000. Special thanks to those who made this event possible - our sponsors, our donors, our Honorary Chairman Josh Jensen of Calera Wine Company, our committee members, our volunteers, and, of course, our bidders! Because of you, we can move closer to a world free of MS.
