Your Time and Talent Can Make a Difference!
If you have the desire to get involved and make a difference, please consider volunteering with the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the National MS Society. Chapter volunteers come from all walks of life and all circumstances. Some have multiple sclerosis themselves; others have a family member or friend with the disease. Many get involved simply because they care about and want to help in creating a world free of MS. Consider using your skills to:
- Help organize or promote a fundraising event
- Advocate on behalf of those with MS
- Assist with office duties
If you prefer direct support in the community, become a peer supporter to someone who is living with MS.
Volunteers are a driving force of the movement to cure multiple sclerosis. Join the movement today, and use your gifts of time and talent to enhance the lives of those living with MS. For more information about volunteering, please contact Heather Adams in Alabama at heather.adams@alc.nmss.org, or contact Andi Agnew in Mississippi at andi.agnew@nmss.org, or complete the volunteer form, and in the comments box, list your preferred volunteer job.
