National Top Scholar Braden Whitaker (pictured) of Tucson is one of our new Marie Ringel Scholarship award recipients for 2013. Braden is one of 17 “Top Scholars” selected nationally. The Top Scholar Program is the National MS Society's recognition program for 17 top scholars (out of all 300+ applications) and offers them the opportunity to apply to renew their awards. Braden lives in Tucson and has been diagnosed with MS. He plans to attend BYU and will be a pre-med major. The Marie Ringel Scholarship fund will continue to support three other students: Nicolas Molina for his second year; and, Both Tyler Good and Chad Sheppard were awarded a scholarship for their third year at Arizona State University.
The Marie Ringel Scholarship program exists to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.We are proud to recognize the determination, success and ambition of these extraordinary people.
