Fashion Show Featuring Designer with MS
Laurie Elyse of Laurie Elyse Design, LLC announces the launch of the 2010 swim wear collection. Laurie’s designs are rooted in the music industry, using a rock and roll style combined with the glamour of the 1940’s pin-up girl. A portion of the sales of many pieces will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern California Chapter.
The event will take place on August 13, 2009, at the Le Merigot Hotel, Santa Monica, California, where the 2010 swim wear will debut for an exclusive invitation-only audience. The attendees will include international royalty, various celebrity guests, and special guests whom are currently living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Laurie Elyse, the designer and founding member of the company, has been living with MS for the past two years. She has been recently featured in Alternative Press Magazine, as well as other national publications.
