The Mix with Donna Sam features MS on 10/15

As Donna Sam and friends ready themselves for their 3rd Annual Dorothy L Sam Memorial 5K MS Walk this weekend, on October 15th "In The Mix with Donna Sam" will spotlight the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern California Chapter. Guest Marni Deckter, VP of Communicaitons will talk facts, research and what the future holds for those living with MS and their families.

MS FACT: Multiple sclerosis or MS is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord resulting in loss of muscle control, vision, balance, and sensation (such as numbness). With MS, the nerves of the brain and spinal cord are damaged by one's own immune system. Thus, the condition is called an autoimmune disease. Call or email, share your stories with the world.
