Color the Town Orange, the Color of a Cure
We need volunteers to help us turn Bakersfield orange, the color for a cure. A team of volunteers from Frontier High School will give downtown Bakersfield the color for a cure, tying orange ribbons around trees along Truxtun and Chester Avenues.
Sunday, March 11: The shopping center’s trees at 7472 N. Fresno Street in Fresno will be tied with orange ribbons.
Monday, March 12: The trees at Fresno State will be tied with orange ribbons. Meet in front of the bookstore at 9:30 am if you want to help. At 11:00 am that day, the trees at Fresno City College will also be tied with orange ribbons.
Tuesday, March 13 at 9:00 am: The Kern County Board of Supervisors will officially proclaim Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week for the area at their weekly meeting.

Taste of Hope -- Bakersfield
Tuesday, March 13 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: The Kern County office of the National MS Society, along with Frugatti’s Italian Eatery and Imbibe Wine & Spirits Merchant, present the 3rd Annual Taste of Hope. Enjoy good food, music and wine while helping out a great cause. Tickets are $40 and include light Italian fare, a $20 wine card and live music. Tuesday, March 13 from 3:00 pm until close: Pismo's Coastal Grill at 7937 N. Blackstone Ave. will donate 20% of all proceeds on dine-in and take-out orders to the National MS Society. Just bring the redemption flyer.

Thursday, March 15 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: The Tasting Room (7775 N. Palm Avenue, Suite 105, Fresno) presents the 2nd Annual Taste of Hope. Enjoy good food and wine while helping out a great cause. Carrot Cake at Frugatti's
Purchase a carrot cake at Frugatti's Italian Eatery in Bakersfield any time between March 12 - 18, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the National MS Society.
MS Service Day
Saturday, March 17 beginning at 9:30am: A team of local volunteers will lead MS Service Day, traveling around Bakersfield, completing home improvement projects both inside and outside homes of people living with multiple sclerosis.
