About Volunteering

Our Philosophy for Volunteerism

Volunteers are integral partners in the movement to end multiple sclerosis. Volunteers across the country contribute resources, time, knowledge, skills and leadership that infuse the organization with energy and passion that will move us closer to achieving a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Who Volunteers with the Southern California Chapter?

Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and mobility levels offer their resources, time, knowledge, skills and leadership without monetary profit to fulfill a defined responsibility in support of the mission and help others.

Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the Chapter, from helping with mailings, fundraising events, to participating on committees and boards. You can work from home, via phone or internet, in an office or at events.

What to Expect

Volunteers are given a position description, orientation, and on-going training. All volunteers work directly with trained staff to ensure that their assignments are compatible with their interests, skills and availability.
