The Wellness Education Series is designed to teach, practice and incorporate wellness skills to enhance the quality of life. We will look at the impact of beliefs and attitudes on the experience of disease and wellness, the importance of movement, strength and balance in mind and body, the benefits of creativity expressed through art and movement, the exploration of nutrition and diet in daily life, the importance of inner and outer experiences of support, discovering purpose in our ever changing lives and the pure joy of play and fun. Participants are encouraged to commit to attending all sessions for experiencing weaving all the threads of wellness concepts together and the support of journeying with others in creating wellness. Graduates attending all sessions will receive a special wellness gift. NMSS resources and referral information will be provided as well as a binder for handouts and journaling your journey.
