Don’t miss the Northern Colorado Dinner of Champions event on Thursday, April 2nd as we honor Sonny & Carol Jo Lubick with the prestigious annual Hope Award. Sonny & Carol Jo Lubick have truly elevated both Colorado State University and the Larimer County communities through their commitment to public service. The Hope Award is the National MS Society’s highest honor celebrating leadership in philanthropy, advocacy and volunteerism.
The Colorado Chapter will also be honoring Paul Joncas as our 2009 MS Champion. A former pastor with Shepherd of the Hills Church in Fort Collins, Paul has been an avid volunteer with the National MS Society and taken on the new challenge of riding in the 2 day, 150 mile Bike MS event on his recumbent tricycle!
Over 9,000 Coloradoans are living with multiple sclerosis. The Northern Office of the Colorado Chapter provides education and wellness programs, financial assistance, case management services and a mobility equipment loan closet to those living with MS in our community. The Dinner of Champions event raises valuable funds for these local programs and for medical research taking place in Colorado and across the country.
The Dinner of Champions will take place at the Hilton Fort Collins, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Sponsorships, corporate tables and tickets are available. We also offer discounted tickets for emerging young professionals (under 35-years-old) to attend this important community event.
