Don’t miss the Western Slope Dinner of Champions event on Thursday, September 10 as we honor Herb and Laura May Bacon with the prestigious Hope Award. The Hope Award is the National MS Society’s highest honor celebrating leadership in philanthropy, advocacy and volunteerism.
The Colorado Chapter will also be honoring Rita O'Dell as our 2009 MS Champion. The MS Champion Award goes to an inspirational and motivational person in the community living with multiple sclerosis.
Over 9,000 Coloradoans are living with multiple sclerosis. The Western Slope office of the Colorado Chapter provides education and wellness programs, financial assistance, and care management services. The Dinner of Champions event raises valuable funds for these local programs and for medical research taking place in Colorado and across the country.
The Dinner of Champions will take place at the Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Sponsorships, corporate tables and tickets are available.
