Tax Checkoff Summary
For the past three years the Colorado Chapter as part of the Check Off, permits a tax payer to designate all or a part of their refund to a charity. Each year we have gotten over $100,000 (the average contribution is $10). This contribution is critical in funding our financial assistance program. Every three years we are required to renew and maintain a minimum contribution of $75,000. This bill passed the Senate and is now on to the House of Representatives.
