Biography |
I joined the chapter staff as the Development Director in June of 2007. I am responsible for directing the work of the Development Department which coordinates Walk MS events, Bike MS events (Bike to the Bay and Crankin' for a Cure), MS Readathon, leadership events (Dinner of Champions and Women Against MS), the MS golf tournament, and third-party events. In addition, I am responsible for securing corporate sponsorships for all chapter events. I also oversee the chapter website and all chapter print materials.
Joining the staff of the MS Society has been tremendously rewarding. I feel that my education and professional experience enable me to guide the department to greater success which means that more resources are available to help the more than 1,500 Delawareans living with MS. Every dollar we raise enables us to fund research into the cause of MS, the development of more effective treatments, and, most importantly, a cure for MS. Born in Lima, Pennsylvania, I grew up in Delaware and love that our small state is so accessible on so many levels. I live in Brandywine hundred with my family which includes my wonderful twin sons and my adorable dogs Dora, Gryffie, and Louie. Join the Movement and help us to create a world free of MS! |
