Financial Assistance

The Delaware Chapter may be able to assist you if you are experiencing financial difficulties that are a result of living with the challenges of MS. We require all members to complete a financial assistance application and review the income and expenses of each family requesting assistance. If you demonstrate financial need, then we may be able to assist with the following:

  • respite care (in or out of the home)
  • home health aides
  • companion service
  • personal care
  • chore service
  • mental health counseling
  • physical or occupational therapy
  • durable medical equipment
  • DART tickets
  • auto modifications
  • home modifications
  • rent or utility payments—emergencies only
  • exercise classes
  • air conditioners
  • special requests

To request financial assistance, you need to provide some basic information about the income of all adults who contribute to your household expenses or your expenses. We ask that you fill out new application forms each year.

In order for your application to be processed you must answer all questions on Part 1 and Part 2

Please allow for a minimum of 2 weeks for processing after we have received your application and requested documentation.
